“Condom Olympics,” is just one of the many events hosted by University Housing during UWM’s annual Sex Week. While it may sound taboo, it gives students the opportunity to learn about safe sex all while having fun and winning fun prizes.

UWM Dining: Worm Found in Student's Food, Complaints Made

Students have voiced complaints about the food quality in the residential halls at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on social media and in complaints to the university, a Media Milwaukee investigation has found.

UWM Black Enrollment & Graduation Numbers Criticized

On April 8, 2023, the Students for a Democratic Society at UWM, made an Instagram post to spread awareness about low enrollment rates among Black Students at UWM.

UWM TechStore and Panther Shop Victim of Burglary - Media Milwaukee

On Monday, March 13, the UWM Techstore notified UWM police about a burglary that took place on Friday, March 10, after the store was closed due to a winter storm.


The Tech Store is located in the UWM student union on the first floor and inside of the Panther Shop.

Michael Jackson Biopic Stars King of Pop's nephew

In 2009, Michael Jackson announced his final tour “This is It” which would take place in July of that year. Unfortunately, the King of Pop would never make it to that tour.


On June 25, 2009, Michael Joseph Jackson died. Jackson’s legacy will live on through his friends, family, fans and new biopic.
